INTEGRITY IN ACTION
Denver Plant Healthcare Company
Serving Denver since 1978.
Ross Tree Company, a long-standing name in Denver tree care since 1978, has undergone a significant evolution, transitioning from a general tree service business to a specialized plant healthcare company. Our shift represents a fundamental change in philosophy to proactive health and prevention rather than reactive tree services like pruning and removal. We are a licensed tree company with a strong relationship with the Denver Forester Office, with a reputation for handling complex tree jobs, street closure permitting, and pioneering systemic injections to control tree insects. We strongly embrace standards-based pruning practices, which save our customers money in the long term. Why not call a licensed, insured, trusted tree and plant healthcare company with an A+ BBB rating? For convenience, we accept all major credit cards. Emerald Ash Borer
After years of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) creeping closer to Denver’s city limits, the insect arrived in 2025. The time act is now because Ash have no immunity to the EAB. Denver’s forester expects all property owners to manage and treat their Ash yard trees. Check out the Ross Tree EAB Handbook to understand your treatment options. A Short Guide to Aspen Trees and Their Care
Nearly all Aspens for sale in Denver came from the mountains for transplanting. So, the best way to keep them healthy trees is to recreate the environment from which they came. Aspens like slightly moist and loose soils, so plant them in a berm of sandy loam soil high enough to keep their roots out of Denver’s clay soil.

Are Cottonwoods Dangerous?
Mature Cottonwood or Poplar trees tend to be large trees. Large branches break off as they die, making them dangerous to people, homes, and yards. Ross Tree has the right trucks, equipment, and expertise to remove these large trees.

Pine Tree Root System Issues
Pine tree roots can extend outwards as far as two to three times the tree’s height. When planted too close to these structures, roots can damage sidewalks, driveways, fences, and building foundations. Correct pine sapling placement is the best way to avoid pine root damage. Proper watering and fertilizing encourage deeper root growth.
